So we have a website now.

If you wish to create a website, you must first create the universe.

Here is a photograph of Bob playing his bass. Basil is in the background playing his guitar.

This is my first attempt at creating a website/blog for PROVIDENCE, so bear with me as I discover my way around the interwebs and get my bearings here.

Covid has really kicked us in the junk. In November 2019, we finally released our debut album, The Demon Haunted World. We took our time with the album, thinking we had all the time in the world. This changed quickly when Bob announced to us his intention to relocate to beautiful Prince Edward Island to live a quiet life on the east coast of Canada in August of 2020. Then, the pandemic hit us very tangibly in March of 2020. The urgent need for rehearsals and pre-production planning disappeared as we were locked down.

The three of us bandmates have been isolated now since March 2020. No rehearsals. No nothing. We chose to be part of the solution, not the problem. This arrangement, however, didn't help promote our new album in any way. We sought to do what we could, isolated from one another, and try to get the word out that we had in fact completed our album.

Making videos was an option, and I got to work making music videos without the benefit of having any band performance footage. I looked at bands like Tool and Pink Floyd for inspiration to tell the music's story using footage that could further immerse the listener into our musical imagery.

Our YouTube channel features my work to that end, so far:
